Acupuncture uses the application of needles in specific spots to stimulate the nervous system to restore health. Symptoms, such as pain, digestive problems, mood imbalances, menstrual irregularities, and sleep disorders, indicate an imbalance in one’s health. The practice of acupuncture examines your constellation of symptoms to identify the underlying cause of the imbalance.

The focus of acupuncture treatment is on restoring health rather than opposing disease. This is based on the belief that the most powerful healing available is your body's own ability to restore itself. Tapping into your body's ability to regenerate, rebalance and realign is powerful, natural, non-invasive and has no negative side effects. Acupuncture takes into consideration the entirety of the person receiving treatment, so that the individual feels addressed on every level, including the emotional, physical, and spiritual. My primary goal is to help clients discover their own healing potential and uncover their own body’s wisdom so that they can experience life in a thriving and rich manner.

Acupuncture is based on the notion that your body is wise, and that when symptoms occur, it is an indication of an imbalance. Thus the practice of acupuncture does not treat isolated symptoms. Rather, the acupuncturist will take into account all of your diverse symptoms, the way your body functions, and your lifestyle to determine the underlying pattern of disharmony. By treating the root cause of illness and stimulating your body to heal itself, not only will symptoms resolve, you may also experience greater vitality, a peaceful sense of well-being, and an improved ability to stave off illness.

Any symptom, be it as simple as a headache or as complex as diabetes, will be a unique experience for every person. Likewise, the path to restoring health is unique to every individual and each acupuncture treatment will be tailored specifically for you.

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture involves the insertion of fine acupuncture needles on the body and face and treats the body systemically, focusing on internal, or root imbalances that manifest outwardly on the face as wrinkles, sagging, puffiness, or discoloration. Treatments involve an herbal facial mask, full body acupuncture, facial acupuncture, and facial massage, all with an organic product line. Initial visits last two hours and follow-ups are an hour and 45 minutes. Typically, after 4-5 treatments, the patient's response to treatments will be assessed and the treatment plan revised. Though there are no guaranteed results and treatments are not considered a "facial lift" by any means, after approximately 8-10 treatments, expected results might be a reduction in fine lines and puffiness, tighter pores, an even skin tone, and an overall more radiant facial complexion. Often maintenance treatments (1-2 times per month) are conducted after that point. Preventative treatments for overall health and wellbeing are also encouraged.
